Archbishop Stepinac senior lacrosse players leading the way
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (PIX11) — PIX11 Sports spent much time at Stepinac featuring Boogie Fland and the basketball team. But four seniors for Crusader Lacrosse are adding some hardware to the trophy case.
For four years straight, Stepinac has battled with the best in the highest league of cheap lacrosse, only to be thwarted by the eventual champions, Iona Prep.
This year appeared to be no different, as after suffering a lopsided loss to the Gaels in mid-April, the Crusaders found themselves down a 6-2 at the half of this year’s championship game.
