The road to a Massachusetts high school championship begins this week.
The MIAA track and field divisional state titles on tap as well as the boys and girls tennis tourney pairings set to be released on Wednesday, we have officially started the chase for a state championship.
Here’s a look at when the action gets going in your favorite spring sport.

Division State Finals: The Division 1 state finals are May 24 and May 26 at Westfield State University. The other state finals are as follows: Div. 2 (May 24 and May 26 at Merrimack College), Div. 3 (May 23 and May 25 at Bridgewater State), Div. 4 (May 23 and May 25 at Westfield State), Div. 5 (May 24 and May 26 at Bridgewater State) and Div. 6 (May 23 and May 25 at Merrimack College).
Meet of Champions: May 30 and June 1 at Fitchburg State University.
