Alabama Morning Drive: Tide hoops leads the way for busy weekend of Alabama athletics

Good morning and welcome back to another edition of Alabama Morning Drive. If you are new here, Alabama Morning Drive is a short and sweet post regarding the latest news and notes involving the Alabama Crimson Tide.

This past weekend was busy for the athletes across the university. Men’s basketball, tennis, gymnastics and others competed over the weekend.

Nate Oats and the Alabama men’s basketball team went to Columbia, Missouri, and again dominated an SEC opponent with an 85-64 win over the Tigers.

The Crimson Tide are certainly making a strong argument for the No. 1 ranking. With Houston losing over the weekend, there is a chance Alabama could find itself as the nation’s top team.
