Alabama High School football Super 25 rankings: Where teams stand heading into week three

The Alabama High School football season is heading into week three and it's time for our Super 25 state rankings.

Sportswriters Maxwell Donaldson, Anna Snyder and Jerry Humphrey III of the USA Today Network vote for who they think are the best 25 teams in the state of Alabama.

View the Super 25 rankings heading into week three action. The vote actually features 26 teams, as there was a two-way tie for 25th place. First-place votes are in parentheses. Teams were rewarded 25 points for first place, 24 for second place and so on.

1. Thompson - 74 points (2 1st place votes)
