Alabama football A-Day: Live score updates from spring game

Alabama football is holding its A-Day spring game at 2 p.m. on Saturday as Nick Saban puts the finishing touches on spring practices.

The Crimson Tide will pair the first-team offense with the second defense on one team. The second offense and first defense on the other.

Bryce Young is the returning starter at quarterback after he put together a season that won him the Heisman Trophy in 2021. It will be worth watching the backup quarterbacks, Jalen Milroe and Ty Simpson. Milroe is heading into his second year with the program while Simpson is an early enrollee who will be a freshman this season.

Meanwhile, Alabama's defense will be led by Will Anderson Jr. and company. The Crimson Tide has an opening at inside linebacker next to Henry To'oto'o as well as spots to be decided at cornerback.

Alabama will also honor Wilbur Jackson and John Mitchell, two former players from the 1970s who integrated the UA football team. A commemorative plaque will be unveiled, and they are set to be honored at halftime.

The Crimson Tide is set to hold the spring game at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The event can be seen via live stream at ESPN.com/watch (SECN+ and ESPN+ subscribers)
