AFC playoff game will be freezing. Will it be up there with the coldest ever?

It's going to be great football weather.

That is if you like your football weather to be played in inhumane conditions.

Saturday night's game that features the Miami Dolphins traveling to Kansas City for a showdown with the Chiefs could be one for the record books.

Temperatures are expected to plummet to -5 degrees Saturday night at Arrowhead Stadium. The good news is it's only a 50-50 shot for about an inch of snow.

The game, slated for an 8 p.m. kickoff, will be played Saturday, where a high temperature of 11 degrees is slated for that day.

The NFL has played games in subzero temperatures before. According to NFL.com, here are the coldest games in NFL history.
