ACC Week 6 Rankings: Louisville next up for league's shot to beat Notre Dame

While three of the ACC’s four undefeated football teams are heavy favorites this weekend, the fourth – resurgent Louisville – will have a first real opportunity at validation when the Cardinals play host to Notre Dame.

The Fighting Irish survived a monumental scare on Saturday at Duke, extending their record against ACC opponents to 3-0 in regular-season games, and Louisville would like nothing more than to snap that streak.

The league still has five ranked teams in the US LBM Coaches Poll, topped by Florida State at No. 5. The Seminoles are followed by North Carolina (13), Miami (17), Duke (21) and newcomer Louisville (25).

With four undefeated teams, the ACC is tied for the most unbeatens with the Pac-12 among FBS conferences.
