Acadiana joins the latest LSWA Class 5A football poll

Here’s a look at the latest Louisiana Sports Writers Association football poll for schools across the state after eight weeks of action.

The only poll changes over the previous poll came in the bottom positions in the Class 5A, 4A and 2A polls. Acadiana joined the 5A poll at No. 10 at 6-2 ahead of Airline, Captain Shreve and Parkway, which sport 7-1 marks.

Teurlings Catholic enters the Class 4A poll at No. 10 with a 5-3 record, while Catholic-New Iberia (6-2) and South Plaquemines (6-2) join the 2A poll at Nos. 9 and 10, respectively.
