Aaron Rodgers returns to MetLife to watch NY Jets vs Chiefs on Sunday night

EAST RUTHERFORD − Aaron Rodgers is in the building.

Three weeks after suffering a torn Achilles four snaps into his debut with the New York Jets, the future Hall of Fame quarterback is at MetLife Stadium for his team's Sunday night game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Rodgers had been in California recovering from surgery but flew back to New Jersey in recent days. According to ESPN, he rejoined the Jets on Saturday and attended a team meeting that night.

It remains to be seen how much Rodgers' presence can help Zach Wilson, who has struggled since once again becoming the Jets' starting quarterback following Rodgers' injury.

But having Rodgers around to offer insight and advice can seemingly only help.

Wilson during the week said he had been in contact with Rodgers.

"I’ve been reaching out to him back and forth," Wilson said. "I’m sure we’ll have a conversation here pretty soon. It’s always good."
