Aaron Rodgers to Bears fans following touchdown run: ‘I still own you!’

His signature championship belt celebration wasn’t the only thing Aaron Rodgers had ready for Bears fans at Soldier Field following his fourth-quarter touchdown on Sunday.

In the midst of the celebration of Rodgers’ 6-yard touchdown run with under five minutes left, the FOX broadcast caught the Packers’ 37-year-old quarterback screaming a message to those wearing navy and orange at Soldier Field.

“I still own you!” Rodgers yelled to the crowd. “I still own you!”

Former Packers executive Andrew Brandt got the full quote:

The touchdown run gave the Packers a 24-14 lead over the Bears. Green Bay has now won 11 of the last 12 games at Soldier Field and 20 of the last 23 games against the Bears overall, and Rodgers is 22-5 as the Packers starting quarterback against the Bears in his career.

With two touchdown passes, Rodgers tied Brett Favre for the most touchdown passes in team history at Soldier Field. And he extended his team record with 57 total touchdown passes against the Bears.

It’s safe to say Rodgers does own the Bears.

“I love it,” running back Aaron Jones said. “What can I say, he’s right.”
