NFL training camp 2022: Aaron Donald involved in helmet-swinging brawl that canceled Rams-Bengals practice

Los Angeles Rams star Aaron Donald was involved in a helmet-swinging brawl that led to the cancelation of a joint practice between the Rams and Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday in Ohio.

The two sides were involved in a few minor scuffles before a massive brawl broke out. Footage shows one player violently swinging a helmet at opponents in a massive scrum during the final fight. Donald gets shoved to the ground during the brawl and is holding a Bengals helmet in his right hand.

At one point, Donald appeared to have Bengals helmets in both hands.

It's unclear what led to the massive brawl. Prior to that fight, there had been two other scuffles.

After the helmet-swinging brawl, the two teams decided to call off practice.

Teams are usually responsible for player punishments when fights occur during joint practices, per Charles Robinson.

Both teams met in last season's Super Bowl. The Rams walked away with a win in that contest, defeating the Bengals 23-20.

The clubs will play their final preseason game of 2022 season on Saturday against each other in Cincinnati.
