Aaron Donald confronted Seahawks OL Justin Britt after Sunday's game

It’s a good thing the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams don’t play again this season.

Rams star defensive tackle Aaron Donald and Seahawks center Justin Britt got into it late in Sunday’s game. Donald was returning what he thought was a fumble (it was an incomplete pass) and Britt hit him out of bounds. Donald was clearly angry at the cheap shot, got up and grabbed Britt from behind before they were separated. Both players were given offsetting personal foul penalties.

That happens in the heat of a game, especially between linemen who pound on each other play after play. Donald took it to another level after the game, however, and he can expect to be fined.

After the Rams got a dramatic win, Donald wasted little time cruising past everyone in the postgame handshakes to find Britt and confront him again. The video comes from Cameron DaSilva of The Rams Wire.

As DaSilva noted, Donald put on his helmet before running out to find Britt. He was planning for a fight, and it wasn’t some random postgame meeting. The NFL will note that.

Donald is one of the best players in the game, but he’s likely to be giving some of his $135 million contract to the NFL this week.
