Lincoln at Colquitt County (Ga), Sep. 29, 7:30 p.m.
A fan-favorite pick, one of the most voted for games was the matchup between Lincoln and Colquitt County. A mid-season matchup against a top-25 team in the nation is a can't miss game, and will arguably be the toughest game of the regular season for Lincoln.
Wakulla vs Balboa (Ca), Aug. 31, 7 p.m. in Orlando
One of the craziest matchups on the Big Bend football calendar this season is Wakulla's trip south to Orlando to take on Balboa from San Fransico. Playing at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, the state champion hopeful War Eagles get to test itself against out-of-state opposition in a neutral environment.
Lincoln at Florida High, Nov. 3, 7 p.m.
A matchup that always draws fan interest, this year's iteration of Lincoln vs Florida High is set to be a heavyweight clash with two programs that have state title aspirations. One of the most voted for games, the end of season clash between two local schools is sure to be a must watch.
Gadsden County at Lowndes, Aug. 25, 7:30 p.m.
Another matchup with a Big Bend school and an out-of-state opponent makes the list. The game between one of the most well-known high school programs in the country in Lowndes, and a team looking to make a name for itself this season in Gadsden County, is sure to be full of action and it starts the season with a bang for the Jaguars.
Our Picks:
Florida High at Gadsden County, Sep. 15, 7 p.m.
A district matchup between two star-studded teams in the middle of the season, Florida High at Gadsden County is shaping up to be an elite matchup. With college recruits on both sides of the ball, the Seminole's visit to the Jaguars has a chance to be one of the games of the season.
Rickards at Godby, Sep. 15, 7 p.m.
The same week as our previous matchup, the annual Rickards vs Godby game is a shoo-in for any list talking about games to watch. With both teams expecting to be good this year, this year's iteration of the rivalry could be another classic in the long history of great games between these two programs.
Lincoln at Niceville, Sep. 7, 7 p.m.
The third Lincoln game on the list, the Trojan's trip to take on Niceville will provide one of the best environments of the football season. Two very competitive teams, this game will be filled with highlights and is the headline game of the week.
Cairo (Ga) at Godby, Sep. 8, 7:30 p.m.
The Cougars host one of south Georgia's most consistent teams in Cairo, with the teams seeing each other in some 7-on-7 action this summer, it's time for the full experience. Godby hopes to be competitive this season and wants to prove it, one of its best chances will be against Cairo, which shapes up to be an exciting matchup.
