Goodbye, Gregg
Like in Buffalo, things didn't workout for Gregg Williams with the Jets. As mentioned, he was fired following their recent loss to the Raiders in the final seconds. He called an all-out blitz, leading to single coverage and a touchdown. Per Jets Wire, Frank Bush, linebackers coach, will be their interim DC.

Injury notes
Will the Jets go winless? Four more weeks to find out. In terms of injuries, they've got a couple of notes going both ways. Former Bills running back Frank Gore (concussion) and offensive lineman Greg Van Roten (foot) were dinged up against the Raiders and missed the second half of that game. No word yet what their future holds this week. On a positive, the Jets did get offensive linemen George Fant and Pat Elflein back in their lineup starting in Week 13. They'll need help and a prayer to pull off a win, though.

Former Bill gone
Williams wasn't the only former Bill-turned-Jet to go this past week. Receiver Chris Hogan did, too. New York released Hogan after he spent the last six games on injured reserve with an ankle injury. Hogan, now healthy, has a chance to go sign with a contender.

Edelman status update
Per Patriots Wire, receiver Julian Edelman is still a few weeks away from a return from injured reserve. The Patriots placed Edelman on injured reserve in Week 7 with a knee injury. The Pats and Bills faceoff in Week 16 on Monday Night Football.
