Nashville area's high school top performers for Week 6: MTCS volleyball wins 35th match

As we shift to Week 6 of the high school fall sports calendar, here are the top performers from the soccer field and volleyball courts in the Nashville area.

Thursday

Soccer

Aireona Duenez, Oakland: Duenez scored four goals in a 5-0 win over Blackman.

Eva Birkofer, PCA: Birkofer notched three goals in a 9-0 win over MTCS.

Annesley Frazier, PCA: Frazier added two goals.

Eva Greenwald, Rossview: Greenwald had two goals as the Lady Hawks knocked off Liberty Creek, 4-2.

Kristen DeSantis, Rossview: DeSantis had a goal and three assists.

Emily Williams, Rossview: Williams had 20 saves in goal for the win.

Laura Hendricks, Station Camp: Hendricks had a goal and two assists in a 9-0 win over Portland.

Elle Lassiter, Station Camp: Lassiter had a goal and two assists.

Emri Lassiter, Station Camp: Emri Lassiter finished with a pair of goals.

Ayden Wood, Station Camp: Wood scored a trio of goals.

Claire Bryant, Stewarts Creek: Bryant had a hat trick in a 8-1 win over Riverdale.

Abigail Pennington, Stewarts Creek: Pennington finished with two goals and an assist.

Volleyball

Jada Burns, MTCS: Burns had 15 kills and eight digs n a 3-2 win over PCA to improve to 35-1 overall.

Anna Clay Shirley, MTCS: Shirley finished with 18 kills, 17 digs and two aces.

Lily Watson, MTCS: Watson had 15 kills, three aces and two blocks.

Elisa Fries, Oakland: Frieds had 16 kills, 12 assists and an ace in a 3-0 win over Riverdale.

Kayte-Madison Bjornstad, PCA: Bjornstad had eight kills, an assist, six digs and seven blocks.

Lillie Meinhart, PCA: Meinhart had 51 assists, three kills, 13 digs, five blocks and three aces.

Sadie Kroeger, PCA: Kroeger finished with 24 kills, 24 digs, and a block.

McKenna Shotwell, PCA: Shotwell led PCA with 28 kills, 27 digs, a block and three aces.

Lillie Beasley, Riverdale: Beasley had six kills, two aces and three digs in a 3-0 loss to Oakland.

Alyssa Burns, Riverdale: Burns added 15 assists, 11 digs, an ace and a kill.

Taylah Upshaw, Riverdale: Upshaw led the Lady Warriors with 10 kills.

WEDNESDAY

Volleyball

Ashlynn Roberts, Eagleville: Had eight kills and two aces in a win over Moore County to finish 10-0 in league play.

Isabella Sawyer, Eagleville: Sawyer finished with eight kills, two aces and a block.

Madison Lansdown, Siegel: Lansdown had six aces, 13 assists and 19 digs in a 3-0 win over Wilson Central.

Cate Schroer, Siegel: Schroer finished with 17 kills and five aces.

Tuesday

Soccer

Taylor Barrier, Fairview: Barrier had five saves in goal as Fairview knocked off Sycamore, 3-1 to capture the District 11-2A regular season title.

Presley Cavender, Goodpasture: Cavender had five goals to lead Goodpasture past Ezell Harding, 9-0.

Serenity Safeeullah, Hillsboro: Safeeullah had a hat trick in the second half alone as Hillsboro rolled to a 5-2 win.

Janelle Roland, Northeast: Roland scored three goals in a 4-4 tie at Springfield.

Jenna Sierawski, Northeast: Sierawski had 10 saves, including two penalty kick attempts.

Aniiya Cowan, Rockvale: Cowan had two assists in a 4-1 win over Riverdale.

Pari Patel, Rockvale: Patel added a goal and an assist.

Kristen DeSantis, Rossview: DeSantis had a goal and three assists as the Lady Hawks rolled past Clarksville, 4-0.

Eva Greenwald, Rossview: Greenwald added two goals in the win.

Samantha Kueker, Rossview: Kueker had a goal and assist.Madison Bennett, West Creek: Bennett had five goals in a 9-0 win over Henry County.

Leilyn Mercado, West Creek: Mercado finished with three assists.

Brittany Williams, West Creek: Williams chipped in with a pair of goals.

Keira Garinger, Clarksville: Garinger finished with 15 kills, three aces and 11 digs in Clarksville's 3-1 win over Rossview (25-21, 25-23, 27-29, 25-16).

Averi Hawtin, Clarksville: Hawtin had two kills, five aces, six digs and 10 assists.

Camryn Hutson, Clarksville: Hutson finished with 17 digs and two aces.

Anna Clay Shirley, MTCS: Shirley had 18 kills and nine digs in a 3-0 win over Webb School.

Lily Watson, MTCS: Watson finished with 10 kills, a block and an ace.

Elisa Fries, Oakland: Frieds had 10 kills and three aces in a 3-0 win over Rockvale.

Sadie Kroeger, PCA: Kroeger had 11 kills, 15 digs, two blocks, three aces and an assist as PCA knocked off FRA in four sets, 25-21, 25-11, 15-25, 25-19.

Kayte-Madison Bjornstad, PCA: Bjornstad added three kills, four digs and six blocks.

McKenna Shotwell, PCA: Shotwell led the way with 21 kills, 22 digs, two blocks and two aces.

Ellie Newton, Ravenwood: Newton led the Lady Raptors with 14 kills, seven digs, two aces and two blocks as Ravenwood beat Franklin 3-1 (25-15, 19-25, 25-15, 25-22).

Kamya Gibbs, Riverdale: Gibbs had nine kills and two blocks as the Lady Warriors beat Blackman 3-1 (22-25, 25-19, 27-25, 25-20).

Ashlee Smith, Riverdale: Smith led Riverdale with 16 kills and added an ace.

Caroline Butler, Waverly: Butler had two aces, seven kills, a dig and a block as Waverly swept Kenwood in three sets, 25-14, 25-10, 25-16.

Karlee Hedin, Waverly: Hedin added seven aces, four kills, a dig and 15 assists.

Carlee Hollifield, Waverly: Hollifield finished with six aces, seven kills, two digs and 13 assists.

Ashlynn Roberts, Eagleville: Roberts had eight kills and three blocks in a 3-1 win over Rockvale.

Meah Thompson, Eagleville: Thompson had 17 kills, six digs and two aces.

Audrey Tribble, Eagleville: Tribble added 36 assists, 14 digs and three aces.

Anna Clay Shirley, MTCS: Shirley finished with nine kills and 13 digs in a 3-0 win over BGA.

Lily Watson, MTCS: Had 12 kills, two blocks and two aces.

Elisa Fries, Oakland: Fries led the Lady Patriots with 10 kills, 19 assists, two aces and eight digs in a 3-0 win over Lebanon.

Shawna Graham, West Creek: Graham rolled up 10 kills, four aces and two blocks in a three-set win over Henry County.

Shawnti' Graham, West Creek: Shawnti' added 10 kills and seven digs.

Olyvia Holloway, West Creek: Holloway finished with 12 kills, hitting .450, and added five aces and eight digs.
