247Sports predicts best-, worst-case scenarios for MSU football in 2022

In the eyes of 247Sports’ Brad Crawford, Michigan State football will be somewhere between seven to 10 wins in 2022.

Crawford released his best- and worst-case scenarios for each Big Ten team this past week, which found Michigan State making a bowl game no matter what. He believes Michigan State in a best-case scenario would go 10-2, while his worst-case scenario is 7-5 for the Spartans.

Here’s a bit of what Crawford had to say about Michigan State’s two scenarios:

“Michigan State plays the four highest-ranked teams in the Big Ten this season, so splitting matchups with Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin and Penn State is likely best case for Mel Tucker’s crew. … Would the Spartans have this much of a significant fall from grace after last season’s success? It’s possible if the ground game fails to produce without Kenneth Walker III.”
