2024 four-star guard Jase Richardson has USC in top 8

Four-star combo guard Jase Richardson — son of Michigan State Spartans great and NBA veteran Jason Richardson — revealed his top eight schools list on Tuesday. The USC Trojans made the cut. Joining the Trojans were Arkansas, Virginia, Stanford, Cincinnati, Alabama, San Diego State, and the favorite in this recruitment, Michigan State.

Jase Richardson is a a 6-foot-3, 180-pound junior who averaged 14 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals per game and was a member of the Nevada All-State defensive team.

Richardson is ranked as the No. 7 combo guard and No. 46 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2024 class. He’s also listed as the No. 3 player from Nevada (Bishop Gorman HS).

Jase’s father has a rich basketball track record and legacy. Jason Richardson played two seasons at Michigan State, helping lead the Spartans to the national championship in 2000. Jason Richardson went on to play 13 seasons in the NBA.

USC and Andy Enfield are counting on the positive publicity provided by the Bronny James recruitment to boost the Trojans in 2024 and beyond on the recruiting trail.
