2023 Masters purse up to $18 million, winner takes home $3.24 million

The purse at the 2023 Masters is going up.

There is $18 million in total prize money up for grabs at Augusta National Golf Club this week, up from $15 million last year, which was a record amount. The golfer who finishes atop the leaderboard will pocket $3.24 million, and the top-three placers will each take home more than $1 million.

The other three men’s majors have not yet announced purses for their 2023 competitions. Last year, the U.S. Open had a $17.5 million purse, the PGA Championship a $15 million purse and the Open Championship was at $14 million.
