2023-24 NFL playoffs bracket: Get the complete playoff picture heading into wild card weekend
Wild-card weekend begins with six must-see matchups to kick off the NFL playoffs.
This Saturday, Joe Flacco and the Cleveland Browns travel to NRG Stadium to face C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans in the first game of the NFL playoffs. Meanwhile, Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins will be leaving the sunny Florida weather behind to play against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. This wild-card game is expected to be one of the coldest games ever played causing a tough atmosphere for both teams.
On Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers will be visiting the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium, where over a foot of snow is expected to fall. The Sunday midday wild-card game will see Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys hosting Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers. Lastly, the final wild-card game of the day will feature Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams taking on Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions, who won their first division title in 30 years by clinching the NFC North.
The weekend concludes with a Monday Night Football showdown between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a spot in the divisional round.

How does the NFL playoff bracket work?
The NFL playoffs are dynamic, meaning the bracket changes as the playoffs progress. Every round, the highest seeds remaining are guaranteed a home-field advantage.
After the wild-card round, the Ravens and 49ers will play the lowest seed remaining in their conference, whether it's the No. 4 seed, the No. 7 seed or anything in between. The second-highest seed remaining would play the second-lowest seed remaining.
If either the Ravens or 49ers fall in a divisional round upset, the highest seed remaining below them – not necessarily the team that beat them – would get home-field advantage in their conference championship game.
