2021 Chris Page: The Fearless One

Chris Page is that guy, fresh on the prep school scene going to Fremont High. Wap, wap, wap...it’s gon "be on" for the next four years. See him slash to the rim, attack on the drive, dunk on the opponent.

Comp is bound to feel his game because this youngin' seems to have no fear in his eyes.

Hear in his own words how he goes forth with confidence, "My uncle Charles Horice always reminds me to stay aggressive, go for it, just like Proverbs 16.3 says 'Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.'"

Yup, hear what C-Page says he feels when he gets in a hoop groove, "On the court I attack them, give them my go-to crossover: first step to whoever it is, it's over then. I get hyped, it's 'go time' and I'm fitting to get another one all over again."

C-Page's destiny might see him make a big name for himself this upcoming year, quite possibly like Josh Christopher did last year.

#now you know

When other junior high kids were playing vs. kids their own age this past summer, Chris was being coached by former NBA player Olden Polynice, ballin' for his Dream Vision team. They balled vs. 18 year olds in Canada and Panama. That shows grit. 100

O-Polynice, who was a 7-foot beast in his own right for his 20 year career, really put it down for Chris saying, "This kid will be special because has a lot of leadership, athletic tools, he's long and has many qualities. I predict Chris will be a star in college and see him being a pro afterward."

Chris does realize he has lots to work on getting to be an elite player. Hear him speak on it, "I know I need to get stronger, get my shooting on point with Coach Young from Fremont. But I'm willing to work at it as much as it takes. I'm trying to make a statement this year, to win, to establish a mamba mentality. Those are my goals."

Now you see why I chose this title? His Inglewood City All Stars coach D-Roc thinks highly of Chris as he says, "Chris is an outstanding wing player with a lot of heart and should be one of top players in City this year as a freshman. He should get votes for freshman of the year."

Chris Page's strength? Fam, fam, fam. Since age 4 young bull been puttin' on hooping with his cousins Demetrius, Keyshawn, and DJ, along with his older brother Carey.

That was the secret sauce that pushed him to be successful as Chris says, "Family, school, and God are priorities. I don't take anything for granted and appreciate that God put me on this earth to try and work toward being a special ball player."

It was heartwarming to hear Chris's grandma, Clarice Houston. Chris respects her so much because she's sacrificed a lot to take care of him and his brother their whole lives.

Chris recounted this sweet memory to share, "Chris would run around the house at age 3. He took one of the decorations off the table and threw it right into the basket. We knew right there he had talent. He's such a good boy, we drove by Prairie St recently, and all these kids on the street were cheering his name. Always proud of that boy!"

Yup, Chris that dude, easy to cheer for him. Instead of decorations, it's going to be a round ball he throws in a basket for the screaming Fremont fans. He'll have plenty of those too, cuz it's statement time for C-Page and he wouldn't have it any other way.
