A 14 strikeout game and more: Vote for the C&I High School Baseball Player of the Week
Welcome to our latest Cape Cod and Islands High School Player of the Week Poll.
High school sports fans can vote for which baseball players they think were standouts during the previous week.
The poll will be open from Thursday through Wednesday. The winner will be announced on Thursday along with the new poll. Votes are unlimited.

Votes must be cast via the Cape Cod Times website/mobile sites. Votes submitted via email and social media will NOT be accepted. To vote for this week's Player of the Week, scroll down on this page.

Aidan Choukri, Cape Tech
In a very close race, Choukri won his first poll with 36 % of the votes as he struck out 10 batters and gave up one hit on the mound for Cape Tech in a 4-3 win over Athol.
This week's candidates
Jake Bohlin, Dennis-Yarmouth
Bohlin pitched a complete game, struck out four, scattered three hits, allowed one earned run, and walked none in a 11-2 win over Uxbridge. At the plate, he went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBIs and two runs scored.
Joe Coughlan, Sandwich
Coughlan pitched six innings, scattered five hits, walked two and struck out nine for Sandwich in a 6-1 playoff win over Belchertown. Coughlan also led the way at the plate with two hits (one RBI, one scored run, one double).
RJ Delcourt, Dennis-Yarmouth
Delcourt was 3-for-5 with two runs, one RBI, and one double in a playoff win over No. 2 Uxbridge.
Alex Finn, Dennis-Yarmouth
Finn had one double, one triple, two runs, and one RBI in a victory over Uxbridge.
Luca Finton, Bourne
Finton pitched a complete game, struck out 15, allowed three runs, and scattered five hits in a 6-3 win over Westport.
Ty Kelley, Bourne
Kelley led the Canalmen at the plate with the two of their three hits, to go with three scored runs, one RBI, and one walk in a road playoff win over Westport.
Ryan Sullivan, Bourne
Sullivan pitched a complete game, scattered eight hits, gave up one earned run, walked two, and struck out seven for Bourne in a playoff win Mount Greylock Regional.
Matthew Taylor, Sandwich
Taylor pitched a complete game and struck out 14 on the mound in a playoff loss to Apponequet.
