1: What is your favorite sports moment so far at Pleasant Hill, individually or as a team?

"There's been a lot of fun ones, but I'd say winning the Battle of I-5 tournament against Douglas. That one came down to the wire. They're a really good team, and it felt really good to get the dub over them, especially in the championship game."

2: Do you have superstitions or pregame rituals?

"I just kind of talk things over in my head amongst myself and try to stay neutral. Stay to myself and not let things get too big or too little. Stay levelheaded. That's what helps me."

3: What is this year's team capable of?

"State championship."

4: What is your favorite thing to do outside of the court?

"I like to go on a lot of hikes. Big nature guy."

5: What is the strongest part of your game?

"I like to think my 3-pointer, but I wasn't making all of them tonight (against Creswell Jan. 30, Pleasant Hill won 68-47)."

6: What has it been like adjusting to the shot clock and does it change the pace of the game?

"Yeah, I'm a fan of it myself. I think it really helps keep the pace of the game up. It hasn't affected us too much this year, but I think it's definitely something that's improved the game overall."

7: Who is your favorite athlete?

"Russell Westbrook."

8: If you could play another sport, what would it be?

"I'd probably play football. I used to play when I was little, but I didn't want to go out there and risk an injury."

9: What got you interested in playing basketball?

"I started playing in the first grade and my dad used to coach me. I just kind of fell in love with it from an early age. I used to play football and baseball and it would start raining or it'd be too cold outside, and I just wanted to be inside playing basketball. I just stuck with it."

10: How much film and discussion is there on a team before you play them?

"A good amount. We try to look over film if we have a couple days before we play a team and try to dissect what they run on offense and defense especially. Then with me, I just try and dissect little things like what looks I can get off a defender or what moves a kid like to go to."
