These 10 girls swimmers and divers made the Times-News' District 10 Midseason Breakout list

Time, at least for a good swimmer, flows at a quick pace.

District 10’s current swimming and diving regular season also has seemingly advanced at such a rate.

The district is now less than one month away from the D-10 diving competition. That portion of its aquatics meet will take place Feb. 23-24 at McDowell Intermediate High School’s natatorium. The meet's swimming portion follows March 1-2 at the S.P.I.R.E. Institute’s Olympic-caliber pool in Geneva, Ohio.

Here are some of this season’s District 10 Midseason Breakout girls swimmers and divers — not included on the Times-News' preseason watchlist — in alphabetical order, who are poised to participate and possibly win district events:

Jaslene Cage, Fr., Cathedral Prep

  • Cage is already in line to become the Ramblers’ next great swimmer based on multiple-victory performances over the first half of her initial varsity season.
