10 boys lacrosse standouts from the Shore Conference Tournament

It's Shore Conference Tournament time and there's been plenty of players who've stood out with strong performances.

From face-off guys, goalies to scorers, players have showed out. Here are some of the top players:

Nick Bouniassi, Manasquan, Sr.

The High Point University commit finished with a clean sheet in the first round of the SCT in the Warriors 15-0 win over Howell on Saturday. The senior had four saves and even let fellow backups Pat Loxley and Cooper Daly protect the net.

Jake Cahill, Rumson-Fair Haven, Sr.

The attackman led the Bulldogs with six goals in their 17-2 win over Middletown North in the first round on Saturday.

Ryan Martin, CBA, Sr.

The Villanova University commit led his team with three goals and five assists in their first round 16-3 win over Jackson Memorial on Saturday.

Brian Volpe, Holmdel, Jr.

He led the Hornets in total points with seven goals and four assists to get a 17-5 win over Donovan Catholic in the first round.

Brendan O'Brien, Shore, Jr.

The midfielder tallied 10 ground balls and won 70% of his face-offs to help the Blue Devils beat Point Pleasant Boro on Saturday.

The midfielder did it all for the Crimson Knights in their 16-11 win over Middletown South on Saturday. He scored two goals, had four assists, eight ground balls, and won 17 face-offs out of 30.

The midfielder led the Bucs in points as he got three goals and assists each in a first round 12-6 win over Red Bank Catholic.

The senior finished with two goals and one assist in the Braves' 7-4 first round win over Toms River East.

Despite the loss to RBR, the midfielder still managed to find the net for three goals to go along with three ground balls for the Caseys.

Owen Richter, Middletown South, Sr.

The Brown University commit had a day with six goals and nine ground balls for the Eagles despite the close loss to the Crimson Knights.
