Baseball Hall of Fame 2013 ballot breakdown

Yahoo! Sports' Kevin Kaduk and Dave Brown of Big League Stew look at the 22 worthy players from the National Baseball Hall of Fame's 2013 class and assess their chances of being elected on this ballot. The inductees will be announced Wednesday.

BBTF projections come from BaseballThinkFactory.org and are based on 105 ballots that already have been revealed by their voters.

Lee Smith

Sort of like David Wells, a larger-than-life dude who was fun to watch. Smith had some great seasons, but you should have to be on a Mariano Rivera level to get into the Hall as a short reliever. Smith got 50.6 percent of the vote in 2012, but he’s going to run out of chances to get to 75 percent. – DB
