I'd have been impressed enough if Roy Williams the receiver went as Roy Williams the safety for Halloween, but this idea destroys that. Remember when Tatum Bell was accused of stealing Rudi Johnson's luggage when Johnson was brought to Detroit to replace Bell?

Roy Williams showed up at Mike Furrey's Halloween party as Tatum Bell. In a bellhop uniform. And Rudi Johnson's underwear.

From Tom Kowalski of mlive.com:

Williams came dressed as former Lions running back Tatum Bell, who made national headlines two months ago when he was accused of pilfering the travel bags of Detroit running back Rudi Johnson. Williams was wearing a bellhop uniform with a big name tag that said "T. Bell.''
Williams was also wearing boxer shorts on the outside of his pants and it said "Rudi'' on the front and "Johnson 32'' on the back. Williams said he informed Bell what he was going to do, via text message, and got the running back's approval.

That had to be an awkward text message for Tatum Bell to get. "Tatum, ur a thief and gone from the NFL - ok 2 make fun of u?" And what's poor Tatum supposed to say? Either he says no, and looks like a bitter, humorless thief ... or he says yes and is roundly mocked.

This is why we don't steal luggage, kids.

Isnt it great that the best story centered around the Lions is stolen luggage? Hey Tatum....next time steal the head coach! And Ford! We have had 7 weeks of Halloween in Lion country....53 guys dress up as real football players and some buffoon throws on a headset and pretends to be a head coach.

Here's an idea... You can dress at Matt Millen. All you need is:
1. pale white make up
2. a horrible 80's porno mustache
and finally
3. a Bill Cosby flamboyant sweater
If someone asked who you were, all you had to say was, "I ruined the Lions."
