Xavier celebrated its upset of Arizona with a WWE-style takedown (Video)

How do you celebrate the biggest upset of the 2017 NCAA tournament? If you’re Xavier’s Malcolm Bernard, you do so by body-slamming a teammate to the floor… Seriously.

Bernard had the ball in his hands as the final horn sounded on Xavier’s Sweet 16 win over Arizona. He tossed it up in the air, then flew into the bench, expecting to be met by a mass of players flying in the other direction. Instead, he met an unsuspecting walk-on:

The Musketeers were too excited to care, though. Bernard and the walk-on he toppled (and then fell on top of) were all smiles, and might as well have been hugging each other on the floor.

Another well-known Xavier fan was all smiles too:

It’s been quite the year for Murray as a sports fan. He cheered the Chicago Cubs onto their first World Series title in 108 years in October. Now he’s dancing onto the Elite Eight with Xavier.
