Who needs baseball? A-Rod has a new job and he's reportedly dating J-Lo

Retired life seems to be treating Alex Rodriguez just fine.

After abruptly calling it quits last August in the midst of his 22nd MLB season, A-Rod has found undeniable happiness in spending more time with his daughters. He’s also landed new opportunities as an advisor with the New York Yankees, in addition to a new full-time job with FOX Sports, which was announced this week.

Now comes word that there’s a new woman in his life, and chances are you’ve heard of her.

That’s right, A-Rod is reportedly dating Jennifer Lopez (aka J-Lo), and the headline writers are already having a field day.

What you see above will be the front page on Thursday’s New York Daily News. The original scoop was reported by LoveBScott.com, and has since been independently confirmed by several outlets, including US Weekly and PEOPLE Magazine.

The timeline surrounding the budding relationship remains in question. Reports indicate they’ve been dating anywhere from a few weeks to four months, but it’s seemingly confirmed now that they are an item.

Lopez, 47, has been married and divorced three times. She was most recently linked to Drake, though those reports were often denied. A-Rod, 41, is divorced and has two daughters. He’s previously been linked to Cameron Diaz, Kate Hudson, Madonna and Torrie Wilson.

The two were reportedly together this past weekend in Los Angeles, days after A-Rod spoke to a group of business students at the University of Southern California. It’s definitely a new life for A-Rod, but no one would argue that hanging out with J-Lo in L.A. sure beats riding the bus from Tampa to Bradenton during spring training.
