Windsor (Colo.) two-way lineman Zach Watts visited Colorado on April 15 for the Buffs' junior day. Wyoming and Utah State have offered the 6-foot-5, 275-pounder early on and Colorado staff is showing interest.

"I loved just everything about it," Watts said. "The campus is beautiful; Boulder is just a beautiful place. There's a reason that everyone is going there. As far as football goes, I was impressed with everything there - the facilities, the coaches were awesome and welcoming.

"In talking with coach MacIntyre, you can see why the organization is a real deal. It starts with him, and he's a super good guy. It was talking to him and the offensive line coach. I was super impressed with the facilities and how up to date everything was."

This was Watts' first time getting an extensive tour of Colorado's campus and facilities. He spent a lot of time with Klayton Adams, and the Buffs are looking at him on the offensive line.

"It was awesome. He'd like for me to come up for a one-on-one camp with him so he can see how I handle his coaching and go over a lot of technique stuff," Watts said. "He talked to me about what they like about me on film.

"He used Heston Paige as an example as one of the lineman that signed with CU. He camped with [Adams] and they ended up offering him. He said that anything is possible. If I have a good camp and show out, you never know what could happen."

If Watts is the next Heston Paige - an underrated offensive lineman that CU pulls the trigger on - then Watts would be extremely grateful.

"Oh man, that would mean the world to me," said Watts. "Growing up around Boulder, CU has always caught my eye. That would be awesome."

Watts has visited Wyoming several times and would like to take another trip there. He would also like to see Colorado State, who has been showing a lot of interest.
