Vikings' Olsen leaves field on stretcher

Minnesota Vikings offensive guard Seth Olsen left the field on a stretcher in the second quarter Thursday after a collision with Titans linebacker Scott Solomon.

Olsen, a fourth-year veteran who started four games last season, gave the crowd a thumbs up before the stretcher entered the locker room area of the Metrodome's Mall of America Field.

Video replays appeared to show Olsen being inadvertenly kneed in the head by Solomon as Olsen attempted to execute a low block.

Players for both teams kneeled near midfield as Olsen was taken for treatment with Olsen lying motionless at the 17-yard line.
