Bryce Alford knows something about scoring.

Not only did he lead UCLA to an opening round upset in the NCAA tournament by hitting nine 3-pointers (including the game-winner), but he also scored 37.5 points per game as a senior at La Cueva (Albuquerque, N.M.).



Alford and UCLA are now in the Sweet 16, and will look for another upset against No. 2 seed Gonzaga.

In addition to lighting up the scoreboard, Alford also contributed in other categories for La Cueva, averaging 6.3 assists, 8.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game.
