VCU 109, East Tennessee State 58

Virginia Commonwealth University extended its winning streak to nine games with a record-breaking 109-58 victory at East Tennessee State on Wednesday night.

Troy Daniels led VCU with 33 points thanks to his 11 3-pointers, breaking the school record of nine 3-pointers that Daniels set against Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday.

The 51-point victory over ETSU marks the most lopsided road win in school history. The Rams, who haven't lost since falling to Missouri on Nov. 24, have won each of the last nine games by double digits.

It was a long night for the Buccaneers, who trailed 51-31 at the half and had 17 turnovers to go with just 22 shot attempts. The second half didn't get any better, as the Rams outscored ETSU 58-27 over the final 20 minutes.
