UFC middleweight Josh Samman was found unresponsive early Friday morning in South Florida.

A report by the Tallahassee Democrat said Samman was found unresponsive early Friday and was in a hospital in critical condition as of Saturday morning. He was reportedly found alongside his roommate, Troy Kirkingburg, who was pronounced dead upon arrival.

He also helped start and was the CEO of the Combat Night fight promotion in Florida, for which Kirkingburg was the ring announcer.

Though there has been much speculation, as of the time of publication, police had not released details of the circumstances surrounding Samman's condition and Kirkingburg's death.

UFC officials told MMAWeekly.com, “We are aware of (Samman's) hospitalization and have been in communication with his management.”
