UFC on Fuel TV 3 Fighter Salaries: Cowboy Takes Home the Bacon

UFC on Fuel TV 3: Korean Zombie vs. Poirier took place on Tuesday night at the Patriot Center on the campus of George Mason University in Fairfax, Va.

Featuring what turned out to be an early Fight of the Year candidate in Chan Sung Jung vs. Dustin Poirier, UFC on Fuel TV 3 wasn’t able to deliver the gate and attendance that the promotion drew to its first two events on Fuel TV.

UFC on Fuel TV 3 pulled in an attendance of 4,592 at the 10,000-seat arena, amounting to a gate of $343,175, according to UFC officials at the post-fight press conference.

By comparison, UFC on Fuel TV 1 managed 7,120 in attendance in Omaha, Neb., for a gate totaling $406,000; while UFC on Fuel TV 2 in Sweden rivaled pay-per-view numbers with 15,428 fans and $2.23 million in gate revenue.
