UFC Fight Night 48 Macao Attendance: UFC Sells Out Cotai Arena

The Ultimate Fighting Championship made its third trip to Macao, China, on Saturday, returning to the Cotai Arena at the Venetian for UFC Fight Night 48: Bisping vs. Le.

UFC president Dana White declared the event sold out at the post-fight press conference, revealing an attendance of 7,022.

“We don’t disclose the gate because it’s not ours. The Venetian owns the gate,” he added.

The main event featured a five-round middleweight bout, pitting perennial contender Michael Bisping against former Strikeforce champion Cung Le.

Bisping looked as sharp as ever in the Octagon, outwitting Le in a stand-up battle the lasted four rounds before Bisping closed Le’s right eye and sent him crashing to the canvas.

Tyron Woodley shed his “chokes in big fights” stigma, after stopping Dong Hyun Kim 61 seconds into their co-main event bout.
