UFC 172 Weigh-in Results: Light Heavyweight Title Fight Officially Set

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is on a collision course with Alexander Gustafsson, who is awaiting their rematch. Glover Teixeira, however, has the opportunity to disrupt those plans, as he is set to challenge Jones for his belt at Saturday's UFC 172 in Baltimore. Jones vs. Teixeira headlines the fight card.

“I'm going to take that belt away from him tomorrow,” said Teixeira after weighing in.

“I'm going to give it my best, and I'm predicting victory,” said Jones.

The co-main event features a returning Anthony Johnson, who has had trouble in the past making weight. Now that he's fighting at light heavyweight, however, he has had little trouble hitting the mark. He faces Phil Davis, who is trying to both fight and talk his way into a shot at Jones.

They and the rest of the UFC 172 fighters first had to make weight on Friday at the Baltimore Arena to make their bouts official.
