TUF 16 Finale Medical Suspensions Could Keep Pat Barry Sidelined for Six Months

The TUF 16 Finale: Nelson vs. Mitrione medical suspensions were released on Tuesday to MMAWeekly.com by the Nevada Athletic Commission.

Pat Barry, even in a winning effort, as well as Marcos Vinicius, Vince Pichel and John Cofer all face suspensions that could possibly keep them sidelined until June 2013.

TUF 16 Finale Medical Suspensions

Matt Mitrione: Suspended until Jan. 30, 2013 with no contact until Jan. 15.

Pat Barry: Must have right foot x-rayed. If positive, he must get orthopedic clearance or he is suspended until June 15, 2013.

Shane Del Rosario: Suspended until Jan. 30, 2013 with no contact until Jan. 15.

James Head: Suspended until Jan. 30, 2013 with no contact until Jan. 15 due to right upper eyelid laceration.

Marcos Vinicius: Must clear right infraorbital rim fracture, anterior right maxillary sinus and nasal fractures with Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor or Maxillofacial surgeon or he is suspended until June 15, 2013. Faces a minimum suspension until Feb. 14 with no contact until Jan. 30.

Vince Pichel: Must have left foot cleared by an orthopedic doctor or he is suspended until June 15, 2013. Faces a minimum suspension until Feb. 14 with no contact until Jan. 30.

Nick Catone: Suspended until Jan. 15, 2013 with no contact until Jan. 6.

Reuben Duran: Suspended until Jan. 30, 2013 with no contact until Jan. 15.

John Cofer: Must have his right shoulder x-rayed and cleared by an orthopedic doctor or he is suspended until June 15, 2013.

Jared Papazian: Suspended until Jan. 30, 2013 with no contact until Jan. 15 due to a laceration above his left eye.
