Tim Lincecum: (Finger) Scratched Thursday

Update: Lincecum was scratched from his scheduled spring start Thursday due to a lingering blister, the San Jose Mercury News reports.

Recommendation: Lincecum's last start was pushed back to Thursday due to the blister, but it looks like that was not enough time for his finger to heal. Lincecum is still scheduled to throw on the side Thursday, and is targeting Saturday for his return to the mound. While fantasy owners would rather see him get in a routine after an up-and-down 2012 campaign, Lincecum still has plenty of time to prepare prior to Opening Day.
