Strasburg has forearm tightness

Washington National manager Davey Johnson said pitcher Stephen Strasburg had tightness in his right forearm after Monday's game against the Atlanta Braves, CSNWashington.com reported.

Strasburg allowed two runs on six hits and four walks over six innings in a 3-2 loss to the Braves.

Strasburg was examined by doctors after the game, and Johnson said it's too early to say whether Strasburg will miss his next scheduled start.

Strasburg's injuries get increased scrutiny because the Nationals shut him down last year after 159 1/3 innings in his first full season back from Tommy John surgery.
