Source: Hawks expected to sign Austin Daye for remainder of season
The Atlanta Hawks are expected to sign forward Austin Daye for the remainder of this season, a source told Yahoo Sports.
The 6-foot-11, 220-pound forward had signed two 10-day contracts with Atlanta and averaged 3.0 points and 1.4 rebounds this season for the Hawks.
The six-year NBA veteran also played in 26 games for the San Antonio Spurs this season before being waived.
Daye was drafted with the 15th pick overall in the 2009 NBA draft by the Detroit Pistons.
