Seahawks add Early Doucet

The Seattle Seahawks agreed to a one-year contract with former Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Early Doucet.

Doucet caught 28 passes for 207 yards in a dozen starts for the Cardinals last season, starting three games.

He caught 54 passes for 689 yards and five touchdowns two seasons ago.

A former third-round draft pick from LSU, Doucet has 139 receptions for 1,491 yards and seven touchdowns in five NFL seasons.

He was released in March by Arizona.

The Seahawks needed depth at receiver with Percy Harvin undergoing hip surgery this week and sidelined indefinitely.
