Sants TE Graham had wrist surgery

New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham had wrist surgery earlier this month, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

The surgery is keeping Graham from playing in this Sunday's Pro Bowl. He was selected as an alternate after the Atlanta Falcons' Tony Gonzalez backed out of the game. Instead, the Minnesota Vikings' Kyle Rudolph will play.

Graham reportedly played through the wrist injury for much of the season and did not miss practice. He made 85 receptions for 982 yards with nine touchdowns but led the NFL with 14 drops.

It is not clear how much time Graham will need to recover.
