Sammy Watkins takes a visit to the Rams
Clemson product Sammy Watkins won't fall out of the top 10.
But how high will he go? Though it's unlikely for the Texans to take Watkins with the No. 1 overall pick, there's a chance the Rams do at No. 2. And that link is even more established now.
According to the NFL Network, Watkins will work out for the Rams this Friday. It will give St. Louis an up close look at the most explosive receiver in this draft class.
The Rams drafted a receiver in the first round last year in Tavon Austin. Pairing the two receivers would make for an explosive tandem.
However, there are other needs St. Louis needs to address too, such as the offensive line and cornerback. With the second overall pick, the Rams will have plenty of directions to go once they're on the clock.
