Report: Raptors offer Ujiri 5-year, $15 million deal

The Toronto Raptors have given Denver Nuggets general manager Masai Ujiri 15 million reasons to consider a change of scenery, according to ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard.

The Raptors have offered the NBA's reigning Executive of the Year a five-year deal worth nearly $3 million per year, Broussard wrote, citing league sources.

Ujiri is expected to make his decision sometime this week, with sources saying that Denver isn't likely to match Toronto's offer.

Ujiri, the lowest-paid GM in the league, built a Nuggets' team that won 57 games and earned the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference playoffs.

On Tuesday, the Raptors moved executive Bryan Colangelo into a corporate position with the team, and said they would bring in another general manager. Ujiri spent three years as an assistant general manager with Toronto, so he has ties to the organization.
