Lions ink deal with DL Jones

After re-signing cornerback Chris Houston, the Detroit Lions continued to work on their defense, signing defensive lineman Jason Jones to a three-year deal. Jones played just one year for the Seattle Seahawks after four seasons with the Tennessee Titans.

Jones had played under Lions head coach Jim Schwartz when both were with the Titans. Schwartz was the defensive coordinator during Jones' rookie season.

Jones had three sacks as a reserve for Seattle last season and 15.5 in his four years in Tennessee.
