Report: Harvin plans to hold out if he doesn't get extension

Minnesota Viking wide receiver Percy Harvin plans to skip offeason workouts and training camp if the Vikings don't give him a contract extension, Pro Football Talk reported Monday.

Harvin is scheduled to make $2.9 million in the final year of his rookie contract. He had 62 catches for 677 yards in just nine games this past season, but his off-field behavior has created problems for the Vikings.

There have been reports that the Vikings will try to trade Harvin, who had a confrontation with head coach Leslie Frazier this season and a clash with former head coach Brad Childress when he was Minnesota's head coach.
