Report: Four teams contact Lovie Smith

Lovie Smith was fired as the Chicago Bears head coach Monday morning, but by Monday evening he had been contacted by four teams about their head coaching vacancies, ESPN reported.

It's not clear which of the six other teams that fired their head coaches on Monday contacted Smith. The Philadelphia Eagles Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers, Cleveland Browns and Arizona Cardinals are the other six teams that are seeking new head coaches.

Smith wants to coach in 2013 and is most interested in the vacancies with the Cardinals and Bills, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported.

The Bears finished 10-6 this season after a 7-1 start, and the Bears won three division titles and also got to a Super Bowl under Smith.
