Report: Dolphins fire trainer Kevin O'Neill

The Miami Dolphins have fired veteran trainer Kevin O'Neill, according to ESPN.

O'Neill drew criticism in Ted Wells' investigative report regarding the bullying allegations against offensive linemen Richie Incognito, John Jerry and Mike Pouncey against teammate Jonathan Martin and an Asian-American assistant trainer.

O'Neill allegedly didn't stick up for the assistant trainer and didn't cooperate with Wells' investigation.

“O’Neill, the head trainer, not only overheard the racist insults, but also sometimes laughed along and never intervened," Wells wrote in his report. "We did not cover this specific topic in our interview with O’Neill, which was cut short because O’Neill expressed hostility toward our investigation."
