Redskins Beaten by Seahawks, 27-17
DeSean Jackson had a big night receiving, but it wasn't enough to avoid a difficult loss for the Redskins against the Seahawks, 27-17, at home.
Kirk Cousins found pay dirt two times on 21 of 36 passing for 283 yards and no interceptions. Russell Wilson also played well for the Seahawks, and wound up 18 for 24 with 201 yards passing, three touchdowns (2 pass, 1 rush) and no interceptions.
Roy Helu Jr. gained -1 yards on two carries in addition to five receptions for 59 yards. Jackson was a top performer, snagging five passes for 157 yards with a touchdown.
The Washington defense allowed 201 yards passing and 225 rushing. They sacked Wilson three times.
Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch could not be contained, putting up 72 yards rushing, 45 receiving and one touchdown. After Wilson, he was the top performer for Seattle.
The Redskins head to Glendale next week to face the Cardinals (3-1) while the Seahawks host the Cowboys (4-1).
