Last week, T.I. got into it with Floyd Mayweather Jr., Wiz Khalifa's obsession got him arrested, and 50 Cent responded to reports that he missed his son's graduation.
T.I. Involved in Altercation With Floyd Mayweather Jr.
T.I and Floyd Mayweather Jr. got into a dust-up outside a Fatburger restaurant in Las Vegas. According to reports, the rapper instigated the fight, the boxer responded and their entourages pushed and shoved each other briefly before being separated.
Speaking with NecoleBitchie.com regarding the incident, Mayweather revealed that a picture taken earlier by T.I.'s wife Tiny was at the root of the fight. She posted a photo on Instagram of herself and Mayweather's daughter with the caption: "Had to come celebrate with my new boo @MoneyYaya Happy Birthday bae."
"I'm eating at Fatburger and next thing you know, he walks in talking about we need to talk again," recounted Mayweather. "Then a couple of words exchange and people got to pushing and a riot kinda broke out. Only person I wanna apologize to is Tiny. I said something like 'control your b----' and I [didn't] want to say that about Tiny. So I do apologize to Tiny because she cool people, man."
Wiz Khalifa Arrested for Weed Possession
On May 25, Wiz Khalifa was arrested at the El Paso airport for possession of marijuana. Searching the rapper because he had no identification on him, TSA agents found a container of pot. Shortly thereafter, Texas authorities were contacted, and Khalifa was arrested and transported to the local jail.
The rapper, who has never shied away from talking about his love of pot, was somehow able to take his cell phone with him into lockup. He then proceeded to post a picture of himself behind bars with the caption: "Jail Selfie" and another of the cell door. He seemed unfazed by the incident and promised fans via Twitter that he would release his long-coming mixtape, 28 Grams, once he was released.
50 Cent Responds to Outcry Over Missing His Son's Graduation
50 Cent responded to public outcry over missing his son's graduation earlier this month. During a recent interview on 106 & Park, the mogul said he and his son are estranged and he didn't receive an invite to the event.
"I don't need an explanation," he said. "My personal life, there's portions of it that are supposed to actually be personal. And [my] actual life as an entertainer is a whole 'nother portion of [my] life.
"I haven't received an invitation to it. And when he graduated, I was in Budapest on a movie with Melissa McCarthy, Jude Law and Jason Statham. At some point, the reason why it actually came out is because his mom is going to TMZ. My relationship with my oldest son is dictated by his actual mom."
